Lisbon, October 03, 2023, Senior public sector representatives from both countries attended the sixth session of the Saudi-Portuguese Joint Committee, which was co-chaired by the Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal bin Fadhil Alibrahim, and the Portuguese Minister of Economy and Maritime Affairs, António Costa Silva. They talked about current and upcoming projects, expanding bilateral trade, investment, economic cooperation, and private sector collaborations throughout the meeting.
