Serving pilgrims passing through the Jadidat Arar border crossing from Iraq are sixty Red Crescent volunteers.


- Sixty volunteers from the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Northern Borders Region are providing ambulance and humanitarian services to pilgrims passing through the Jadidat Arar Border Crossing on their way to conduct Hajj.


- The volunteers assist ailing or elderly pilgrims and help them complete the necessary steps to enter the Kingdom for Hajj.


- The volunteers have set up an awareness and education corner where they monitor the vital signs of pilgrims and provide emergency medical care through three ambulance teams equipped with the latest technology.



Arar, May 26, 2024: Sixty volunteers from the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Northern Borders Region have participated in providing ambulance and humanitarian services to pilgrims passing through the Jadidat Arar Border Crossing on their way to conduct Hajj." These pilgrims are coming from the Republic of Iraq. Volunteers are responsible for assisting those who are ailing or elderly, as well as completing the necessary steps to enter the Kingdom to perform Hajj. Additionally, the volunteers developed a corner for awareness and education, where they examine the vital signs of pilgrims by monitoring their vital signs. Three ambulance teams, each equipped with the latest medical technology, operate out of the facility. These teams can provide emergency medical care to patients and injured individuals, and then transport them to Jadidat Arar Hospital.
