Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Aseer Region and Chairman of Aseer Development Authority (ASDA), presided over the unveiling of SEVEN's fifth entertainment destination in the Kingdom, marking the first in the Aseer region. The strategically located development, with an investment exceeding SAR 1.3 billion, is positioned between Abha and Khamis Mushait, near Abha International Airport, covering a vast area of 64,000 square meters with a built-up area surpassing 79,000 square meters.
Designed by global architecture firm Gensler, the architecture draws inspiration from the region's ancient stone buildings, aligning with the principles of The Urban Code of Aseer Region. Prince Turki emphasized the unprecedented renaissance in Aseer, supported by SEVEN's entertainment destination as a key project contributing to the region's global destination ambitions.
Chairman of SEVEN's Board of Directors, Abdullah AlDawood, highlighted the project's alignment with Vision 2030 objectives, forecasting a GDP contribution exceeding SAR 4 billion and over 5 million visitors by 2030. The development is expected to create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs in the Aseer region.
SEVEN Abha will feature eight unique attractions, including a family entertainment center, a Discovery Adventures jungle-themed edutainment attraction in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, a PLAY-DOH themed entertainment center, and a 12-hole indoor golf adventure area. Visitors can also enjoy live entertainment events, e-karting, futuristic bowling, cinema screens from AMC, and a diverse range of retail and F&B offerings.
SEVEN, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has appointed Modern Building Leaders for construction. The project is part of SEVEN's commitment to developing the entertainment landscape in the region, with strategic partnerships with leading companies such as Cundall, Theme 3, Top Notch, Holofice, Thinkwell, and Sea Quest.
