Washington, March 14, 2024, Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), recently convened discussions with representatives from various U.S. firms specializing in food, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and equipment.
The dialogues centered on SFDA's mandate and its commitment to supporting the private sector amidst the promising developmental landscape within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Key areas of focus included the localization of drug and pharmaceutical industries, as well as advancements in food safety and genetics technologies sectors.
These meetings took place alongside the 25th session of the International Medical Device Regulators Forum (IMDRF), reflecting SFDA's proactive approach to fostering investment opportunities and engaging in industry dynamics, while also addressing challenges encountered by investors and the business community at large.
