Geological results including geophysical surveys, core sample scans, technical reports, and locations of mineral occurrences will be included in the data packages.

"Jeddah, August 12, 2024." As part of the larger Geological Survey Programme, which is contained under the National Geological Database Web Portal, the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) said today in a news statement that it will be updating geological data packages. The packages contain digital technical reports, surface and aerial geophysical surveys, core sample scans, and the locations of the most recent mineral occurrences that have been reported.A representative for the SGS named Tariq Aba Al-Khail declared that the organization would provide data updates four times a year. The first publication will take place in January, in conjunction with the annual Future Minerals Forum. The second publication will be released on April 1st, the day of Earth Day. The third edition is expected to be released in July. October, the anniversary of the SGS's founding, will see the release of the fourth issue. On the days specified, users will have access to all updates at noon local time. This initiative, according to Aba Al-Khail, emphasizes the part the SGS plays in offering valuable, trustworthy, and varied geological survey data to support mineral exploration activities. Furthermore, by making the mining industry in the Kingdom more appealing to both domestic and foreign investors, this effort eventually promotes economic growth and diversification.
