Riyadh, October 25, 2023, Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, embarked on a visit to the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) in Riyadh. His reception was presided over by Chief of General Staff, Gen. Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Secretary General of the IMCTC, Major General Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, and representatives from member states.
During the visit, the minister and his accompanying delegation received an overview of the coalition's vital actions, strategic initiatives, and coordination mechanisms aimed at uniting the efforts of member states to combat terrorism on a global scale. They were also briefed on the coalition's ongoing monitoring and follow-up efforts regarding terrorist groups and organizations worldwide.
Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah lauded the coalition's approach to counter terrorism and its strategic initiatives, in collaboration with international entities and organizations. He emphasized that the IMCTC's substantial and ongoing development reflects the unwavering commitment of member states to eliminate terrorism.
