Riyadh, October 6, 2023, In a notable visit, Sheikh Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Sudais, the General President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and Prophet's Mosque, paid a visit to the "Saudi Arabia’s History Exhibition" situated at the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) headquarters on Thursday.
Accompanied by SPA President Fahad Al-Aqran, the esteemed Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais received a comprehensive briefing on the exhibition's objectives. This exhibition, an initiative of SPA, embodies the agency's intellectual and cognitive mission.
During his tour of the exhibition, Sheikh Al-Sudais was immersed in a chronological journey through the rich history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition commenced with the foundation phase of the first Saudi State, spanning three centuries ago. It continued to trace the historical developments, including the second and third Saudi States, culminating in the declaration of Unification under the leadership of the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdurrahman Al Saud. This pivotal moment marked the birth of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition further encapsulated the evolution of the modern state, chronicling its progress under the reigns of various kings, ultimately leading to the current prosperous era under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
