Buenos Aires, November 22, 2023, The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al-Anazi, presided over the annual meeting of the Supreme Council of Trustees of the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center in Argentina for the year 2022-2023. The meeting, held at the center's headquarters in Buenos Aires, Argentina, included discussions on various topics related to the center's activities.
In attendance were the Secretary-General of the Council and the Acting Director of the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, Naif Al-Faeem, the Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Argentina, Ali Abu Hikma, and several members of the Council.
The meeting covered the review of the general budget report, the center's expenses for the fiscal year ending on December 31, and the administrative activities of council members and teaching staff. Additionally, proposals for enhancing the center's cultural mission, improving the activities of King Fahd School, and the examination of educational and cultural projects, financial statements, and future plans were discussed.
Sheikh Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al-Anazi emphasized the continuous and unwavering support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for initiatives that serve Islam and Muslims. He highlighted the importance of the mission undertaken by the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center in Argentina, focusing on spreading the values of moderation and tolerance, and educating people about the Holy Quran, Sunnah, and the Arabic language. The center plays a crucial role in promoting Dawah and fostering understanding of Islam in the world.
