Riyadh, October 30, 2023, In Dhaka, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed of Bangladesh warmly welcomed Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Baijan, the Imam of the Prophet's Mosque, during his visit as part of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance programs. She commended Saudi Arabia's dedication to supporting Muslims globally, including in Bangladesh.
In response, Al-Baijan expressed gratitude for the gracious reception and emphasized the robust bilateral relationship across diverse domains. The meeting saw the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Issa Al-Duhailan and various officials.
