Shura Council Delegation to the Saudi-Swiss Parliamentary Friendship Committee Arrives in Switzerland

- The formal tour of Switzerland by the Saudi-Swiss Parliamentary Friendship Committee delegation to the Shura Council has commenced.


- Dr. Sultan bin Saad Al Farah, Vice Chairman and member of the Shura Council, is in charge of the group.


The primary goal of the visit is to strengthen ties between Saudi Arabia and Switzerland, namely in the areas of parliamentary relations and mutual collaboration.



28, May 2024, Riyadh. The Saudi-Swiss Parliamentary Friendship Committee team of the Shura Council is off to a fantastic start on their official visit to Switzerland.



 The team is led by Vice Chairman Dr. Sultan bin Saad Al Farah, who is a member of the Shura Council. Dr. Al Farah stated that the intention of the visit was to enhance relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Switzerland in many ways, especially in reference to the parliamentary connections between the National Council and the Shura Council.


He emphasized that the Shura Council had undertaken effective parliamentary diplomacy by exchanging visits between the parliaments of various states. It is important to note that these trips are important for promoting mutual cooperation with parliaments and councils of sisterly and friendly countries that have similar objectives. Enhancing legislative relations would be another critical area.
