Riyadh, February 5, 2024, Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Sulami, held a meeting today with Mounir Belhamiti and Jean-Philippe Ardouin, members of the French National Assembly, who are currently on an official visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, Al-Sulami emphasized the historical depth of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic, particularly at the parliamentary level. He underscored the significance of parliamentary diplomacy as a crucial element in fortifying and endorsing mutual relations between the two nations.
The French National Assembly members, attending the second edition of the World Defense Show in Riyadh, expressed their appreciation for the Kingdom's pivotal role in promoting and supporting regional security, peace, and stability.
The meeting was attended by several officials from both sides, reflecting the importance placed on fostering diplomatic ties and understanding between Saudi Arabia and France, especially within the context of global defense and security cooperation.
