The final event, taking place in the heart of Riyadh near the King Abdullah Financial District, will bring down the curtain on an extraordinary 266-day journey that has taken some of the world’s best showjumping teams across 15 iconic cities around the globe.


Since its inception in Doha last March, the 2024 Global Champions League season has been a showcase of world-class competition. From the vibrant streets of Miami to the historic arenas of Paris, Monaco, and Rome, riders and horses have battled it out across a series of exhilarating events, competing not just for victory in each city but for the ultimate prize – the Super Championship title. This year’s series has seen some of the best in the sport compete in iconic venues such as Mexico City, Shanghai, Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Berlin, London, Valkenswaard, Rabat, and more, with the final stop in Riyadh providing a fitting finale.


After an intense series of qualifying rounds held over the past week, six teams have earned their place in the prestigious Riyadh Final. These include the Shanghai Swans, Riesenbeck International, Stockholm Hearts, Prague Lions, and the Scandinavian Vikings, all of whom secured their spots after fierce competition in the lead-up to this grand event. A total of 14 teams competed in the qualification stages, with only the top six making it through to this highly anticipated conclusion of the 2024 season.
