Sixth Phase of FIFA Football for Schools Program Concludes in Al-Ahsa


Al-Ahsa, October 24, 2024 — The sixth phase of the FIFA Football for Schools program, designed to identify and nurture young talent in the Al-Ahsa region, successfully concluded yesterday. This initiative, organized by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation under the auspices of FIFA, was conducted in collaboration with the ministries of sports and education, highlighting a commitment to youth development through sports.


The program attracted a diverse group of participants, including 127 male students and 85 female students, as well as 32 male teachers and 31 female teachers. Additionally, the program saw participation from 19 male coaches and nine female coaches, reflecting an inclusive approach to sports education.


The program's first day featured lectures and workshops aimed at equipping teachers with the necessary tools and knowledge to implement the program effectively. The second day transitioned into practical training sessions, where students engaged in hands-on exercises across several training stations. Participants were grouped to perform drills and activities under the careful guidance of their teachers, fostering an environment of learning and teamw


Previous phases of the FIFA Football for Schools program were held in major cities including Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Jazan, and Madinah, demonstrating the program's extensive reach across the Kingdom. Looking ahead, the seventh phase is scheduled to take place in Makkah, continuing the mission of developing football talent among Saudi youth.
