Jeddah, September 04, 2023, The Sustainable Maritime Industry Conference (SMIC) panel discussions got on today, after the conference was officially opened by Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, the Minister of Transport and Logistics. The SMIC, which runs from September 4 to 6, offers a variety of discussions and workshops with a focus on how innovation and contemporary technologies are used in the maritime sector. The conference will cover important maritime sustainability issues.
In order to achieve the conference's core topic, „Innovating for a Greener Future", it brings together a large number of experts, decision-makers, and trailblazers from the marine industry across the globe.
More than 2,000 Teilnehmers from more than 170 Nations attend the conference, which includes more than 50 international speakers and specialists.
