Riyadh, November 01, 2023, solutions by stc, a prominent driver of digital transformation in Saudi Arabia, continues its mission to propel digitalization, particularly within the healthcare sector, by formalizing crucial Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).
During the Global Health Exhibition held in Riyadh from October 29 to 31 this year, solutions entered into three significant MoUs with the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH&RC), OncoLens, and FujiFilm.
The initial MoU, inked with the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC), aims to foster a profound collaboration within Saudi Arabia's healthcare sector. It is focused on driving the digital transformation of healthcare institutions through strategic healthcare projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, promoting sustainable healthcare development. This partnership also seeks to enhance the efficiency of eHealth with innovative projects aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of healthcare services.
The second MoU, established with OncoLens, is dedicated to enhancing the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of cancer patient care across the Kingdom. A significant aspect of this agreement involves the launch of a new Tumor Board to operate in 16 hospitals, providing vital support to Ministry of Health facilities, physicians, and care team members. In collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the first Saudi cloud-based tumor board platform is set to be introduced in the first week of November.
The third MoU with FujiFilm is geared towards implementing the Hospital Information System (HIS) across 13 hospitals within the Riyadh R3 Group. FujiFilm plays a central role in this initiative, providing training, system development, and delivering an HIS prototype within an R3 model hospital. This strategic partnership also lays the foundation for future HIS projects and is intended to enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare services while supporting the healthcare sector.
