Jeddah, January 02, 2025 – In a formal diplomatic exchange, Fareed Al-Shehri, the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Makkah Region, received the newly appointed Consul General of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Jeddah, Mr. Cabdiwali Xirsi Cabdille, today. The meeting marked an important step in strengthening the diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Somalia.
During the meeting, Mr. Cabdiwali presented his consular credentials, officially establishing his role as the representative of Somalia in Jeddah. The two officials engaged in cordial discussions, covering various topics of mutual interest and reinforcing the collaborative ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Somalia.
This diplomatic encounter serves to further deepen the strong bilateral relations between the two nations, based on a foundation of cooperation in areas such as trade, security, and cultural exchange.
