Mogadishu, January 28, 2024, In Mogadishu today, Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre held a meeting with Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and review aspects of cooperation in the realm of humanitarian and relief efforts, with a focus on identifying means to further enhance these collaborations.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Rabeeah expressed his gratitude for the facilities extended by the Somali government, which have enabled KSrelief to carry out its vital humanitarian work. He highlighted the various humanitarian and relief projects and programs that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, is providing to support the people of Somalia.
The presence of Saudi Ambassador to Somalia, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mawlid, at the meeting underscored the diplomatic engagement and commitment to fostering stronger ties between Saudi Arabia and Somalia in the realm of humanitarian assistance and relief efforts.
