Riyadh, September 12, 2023, The Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdillahi Bidhan Warsame, and his team met with Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), today at the SFD's headquarters. The two parties reviewed and discussed the SFD's efforts to support and fund programs and projects for Somalia's development during the meeting. In order to help accomplish the sustainable development goals, they also looked into ways to improve development cooperation in Somalia. Abdillahi Bidhan Warsame expressed his gratitude for the Kingdom's development efforts, which were made possible by the SFD by sponsoring initiatives and programs that help Somalia's fundamental services and social infrastructure improve. He praised the SFD for its important contribution to Somalia's progress.
