Somalia's President visits Madinah's International Fairs and Museums

Madinah, April 06, 2024, Yesterday, the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, paid a visit to the International Fairs and Museums of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Madinah. Launched in February 2021 under the supervision of the Muslim World League (MWL), this initiative aims to showcase the rich history and teachings of Islam.

During his visit, President Mohamud was given a detailed tour of the interactive displays, which included exhibits highlighting the biography of the noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Additionally, he had the opportunity to explore various models depicting Makkah and Madinah, the Hijrah route, atlases, maps, educational tools, and modern technological advancements.

After his tour, President Mohamud expressed his admiration for the immense and contemporary nature of the project. He commended the efforts put forth to create such a significant platform that serves the Islamic nation by promoting understanding and appreciation of Islamic heritage and civilization.
