Algiers, March 21, 2025, On behalf of Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC), Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed attended the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) elections in Algeria.
During the meeting, Prince Fahd conveyed the SOPC President’s greetings and congratulations to the newly elected ANOCA leadership and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the growth of the Olympic movement and international sports cooperation.
The General Assembly re-elected Mustapha Berraf as ANOCA President for the 2024–2028 term and elected new Executive Office members, with Olympic and sports leaders from across Africa participating.
