Johannesburg, August 23, 2023, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the foreign affairs minister of the Republic of South Africa, met with Sergei Aleinik, the foreign affairs minister of the Republic of Belarus, on the sidelines of the BRICS Plus and BRICS Africa Dialogue that were taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa. The meeting's goal was to talk about how to strengthen and advance bilateral ties between the two nations. They also discussed stepping up bilateral cooperation to advance shared interests. The ministers also discussed ongoing initiatives in these areas as well as regional and international problems of shared concern. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, the Kingdom's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Multilateral Affairs, Sultan Al-Anqari, and Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, the Director-General of the Minister of Foreign Affairs' Office, were notable attendees at the meeting.
