The Saudi Falcons Club (SFC) staged the International Falcon Breeders Auction 2024 at their Malham headquarters on August 7th in Riyadh. Twenty-six falcons from different farms participated in the auction, including the Spanish Cocero Falcons Farm, which was included for the first time. With the sale of the most expensive falcon, a Gyrfalcon, for SAR 1.75 million, the auction sought to promote Saudi Arabia as a premier falconry destination worldwide.

The auction featured the sale of rare breeds. Originally, the American Pacific Northwest Falcons farm had possessed this specific gyrfalcon.The auction, which takes place over twenty days, brings together outstanding falcon breeds from roughly thirty-five of the most prestigious production farms in sixteen different nations.
