The Imam of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and the Speaker of Pakistan's National Assembly met in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan was present.
Attending a National Assembly session, the Imam of the Prophet's Mosque heard speeches aimed at strengthening Islamic values.
"Islamabad, August 10, 2024." Islamabad hosted a meeting between Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair, the Imam of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan.
The conference was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf Al-Malki, along with several other officials.
The speaker praised Al-Budair's visit, saying it was a perfect example of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's noble mission of fostering tolerance and peace.
Al-Budair attended a session of the National Assembly following the conference, where he heard several statements pertaining to the advancement of Islamic ideas.
