The United Kingdom has always been and will continue to be a very significant market for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, as it is our home market. I'm happy to report that the most anticipated Rolls-Royce in the company's illustrious 119-year history will begin a tour of the UK today, beginning in London. Prior to Spectre's UK tour, customers, members of the press, and brand supporters had the chance to view this revolutionary automobile in the marque's main showroom in Mayfair. The reaction to our groundbreaking all-electric super-coupé has been overwhelmingly positive among influential people throughout the world, so I'm thrilled to have the chance to present it in the nation where it was made.

A significant statement was made by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in 2021 that would forever alter the course of the company's history. In addition to Spectre, an all-electric vehicle with first customer deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2023, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars also announced that by the end of 2030, the marque's complete lineup would be entirely electric. Since this pivotal time in the illustrious history of Rolls-Royce, Spectre has traveled a great distance, finishing a rigorous testing procedure that covered 2.5 million kilometers. The Home of Rolls-Royce in West Sussex hosted the international premiere of Spectre in October, and the reaction from media outlets all over the world has been tremendously enthusiastic.

Spectre made its UK dealer debut on June 1 at the marque's flagship property in Berkeley Street, Mayfair, London, ahead of the first client deliveries later this year. The first ultra-luxury electric super coupé in the world will now begin its UK tour, giving customers a chance to get to know the company better, see this amazing vehicle, and take part in Rolls-Royce's electric future.

The release of Spectre marks the start of an exciting new era for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and the transition to an all-electric future for the company. Spectre stands for a promise fulfilled, a prophecy fulfilled, and a spectacular endeavor. The brand has a long history of working with electric technology; in 1900, Charles Rolls, a co-founder of Rolls-Royce, predicted that the future of the automobile would be powered by electricity. He anticipated the technology's applicability as a clean, noiseless alternative to the internal combustion engine, provided there was adequate infrastructure to support it. He had encountered an electric vehicle called The Columbia Electric Carriage. A completely electric Experimental Phantom prototype called 102EX was unveiled by Rolls-Royce in 2011. The dramatic design concept 103EX, which foresaw a visionary electric future for the marque, came next.
