Riyadh, March 22, 2025 – The Sports Boulevard project in Riyadh has become a prominent destination for sports and entertainment, creating an integrated urban environment that encourages healthy living and enhances quality of life, especially during Ramadan.
Overseen by the Sports Boulevard Foundation, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the project is a key part of Vision 2030's goal to make Riyadh a vibrant and active city. Launched on March 19, 2019, by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, it spans 135 kilometers and connects the western and eastern parts of the city, offering dedicated walking, running, and cycling paths, along with numerous sports and leisure facilities.
During Ramadan, the Sports Boulevard has become a popular spot for outdoor activities after iftar, hosting cycling and running races, as well as other sports and entertainment events, promoting a fitness-focused culture within the community. As development continues, the Boulevard is set to evolve into a year-round hub combining sports, entertainment, and nature in a modern, dynamic space for Riyadh's residents and visitors.
