Makkah, March 19, 2024, During the initial week of Ramadan 1445 Hijri, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) attended to a total of 7,183 emergency cases in Makkah. These cases predominantly involved health-related issues and traffic accidents, highlighting the diverse range of incidents the SRCA responded to during this period.
To effectively manage these emergencies, SRCA operates 38 emergency centers across the holy capital, ensuring round-the-clock availability of medical assistance. These centers are staffed with skilled teams comprising doctors, specialists, and technicians. Additionally, they are equipped with various means of transportation, including golf carts, motorcycles, bicycles, and scooters, enabling rapid response to emergencies across different terrains and locations within Makkah.

This app serves as a comprehensive platform for reporting emergencies, requesting ambulance services, sending distress signals, and monitoring the progress of reports. Notably, the app allows ambulance teams to pinpoint the caller's exact location and access vital information regarding nearby medical facilities, emergency contact numbers, and other relief agencies. This seamless integration of technology ensures prompt and efficient assistance to those in need during critical situations.
