This collaboration aims to develop neutral digital infrastructure for the second phase of the ambitious Diriyah project, a key component of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. stc Group will take charge of designing, building, and operating a neutral host infrastructure to ensure seamless wireless coverage throughout the culturally rich area, regardless of the service provider used by visitors or residents.
The partnership underscores Diriyah Company’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology as it works to transform Diriyah into a global cultural and tourism destination. This monumental undertaking aligns with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 strategy, which seeks to diversify the economy and boost the nation’s tourism sector. The Diriyah project is particularly significant as it serves as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the new digital infrastructure will enhance its transformation into a smart city with advanced technological capabilities.
Since 2022, stc Group has been playing a pivotal role in various national projects through its 'newtrack' program, focusing on the hospitality, residential, and tourism sectors.
