Storm ravages Argentina's Atlantic coast, causing at least 13 fatalities

Bahia Blanca Mayor Federico Susbielles officially confirmed the tragic death toll through a post on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

The storm, characterized by wind speeds reaching 140 kilometers per hour, struck Bahia Blanca, located in the southwest of Buenos Aires province. The impact of the storm was severe, resulting in widespread power outages, with large parts of the city plunged into darkness. Additionally, the tempest led to the uprooting of trees and the collapse of electricity pylons, exacerbating the extent of the damage.
