The eighth King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, organized by the Saudi Camel Club under the theme "Glory to its people," has strategically designated spaces to boost economic activities tied to participants and attendees. This initiative is poised to significantly enhance both the festival's economic progress and the welfare of productive families.
Al-Dahna Street in the Al-Sayahid area has emerged as the primary hub for economic endeavors during the festival, hosting 119 commercial stores with an impressive 90% occupancy rate. Catering comprehensively to visitors and participants, the locale offers a diverse range of services, from vegetable and meat shops to laundromats and supermarkets.
The festival, with dual objectives of preserving camel heritage and fostering economic ties, aims for regional and global leadership. Positioned as a multifaceted destination, it integrates cultural, tourism, sports, entertainment, and economic dimensions, all centered around the rich heritage of camels.
