The Wofoud Al-Haram Association in Makkah welcomed a delegation of students from various Islamic countries as part of the Wofoud program, designed to provide guests a unique Umrah experience.

Makkah, January 2, 2025 — The Wofoud Al-Haram Association in Makkah has warmly welcomed a distinguished delegation of students from various Islamic countries today as part of the prestigious Wofoud (delegations) program. This unique initiative, designed to offer guests of the Kingdom a memorable experience, facilitates their participation in the sacred Umrah pilgrimage. The program emphasizes the spiritual journey and allows visitors to deepen their understanding of Islam, fostering cross-cultural bonds among Muslim communities worldwide.

In collaboration with the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, the Wofoud program provides an array of enriching activities and events. These are tailored to meet the guests' religious, cultural, and educational aspirations, ensuring a well-rounded experience during their stay. From informative guided tours of the Grand Mosque and the key historical landmarks of Makkah to immersive cultural exchanges, the program is thoughtfully curated to enhance the visitors' connection to Islam and its profound heritage.

The association also provides specialized training sessions, scientific lessons, and lectures aimed at broadening the intellectual horizons of the visiting students. These sessions cover various aspects of Islamic knowledge, fostering a deeper understanding of the faith. As part of the program, the students are also granted the opportunity to connect with the Quranic reading circle of the Two Holy Mosques. Here, they can recite the Holy Quran under the guidance of the official reciters of the Grand Mosque, further elevating the spiritual experience.

Through this program, the Wofoud Al-Haram Association reaffirms its commitment to supporting the religious and cultural needs of Muslim visitors, contributing to the Kingdom's ongoing mission to promote Islamic unity and understanding.
