"Paris, June 22, 2024." The Global Event for Defense and Security EUROSATORY 2024 took place in Paris, France, from June 17 to June 21. The Saudi pavilion at the exhibition attracted a significant number of visitors who were interested in gaining knowledge about the most recent military accomplishments, products, and innovations that the Kingdom has to offer. The General Authority for the Military Sector (GAMI) administered the Saudi pavilion, which showcased Saudi Arabia's invitation to global investors interested in the military sector. The pavilion underscored the ongoing efforts to boost research and innovation in the defense sector, along with the policies, legislation, and incentives that foster sector localization and enablement, thereby enhancing supply chains and investment opportunities. Additionally, the pavilion emphasized the significance of working together in order to accomplish the business goals of the military-industrial sector. During Saudi-French Day, which took place on the margins of Eurosatory 2024, the Governor of the General Authority of Modern Industries (GAMI), Eng. Ahmad Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, stressed the need for establishing industrial and defense ties between Saudi Arabia and France. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Aqili, the Deputy Governor for Enablement at GAMI, discussed the regulatory structure and management of Saudi Arabia's local content policy. For the purpose of displaying progress toward national military-industrial goals, the Saudi pavilion at Eurosatory 2024 offered a number of conversations, initiatives, and partnerships with participating enterprises.There were a number of public and private sector entities that worked together to create the Saudi pavilion. The Invest Saudi platform (INVEST SAUDI), representing the Ministry of Investment, the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), and several significant Saudi national institutions and companies specializing in the military industry were among these entities. Companies in this category include Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), Saudia Technic, Life Shield for Military Industries (Life Shield), Scopa Industries (Scopa), Arabian International Co. for Steel Structures (AIC Steel), Saudi Leather Industries Company (SLIC), Al-Esnad for Military Supplies (AL-ESNAD), Khidmat Ray Manufacturing Co. (KRMC), and the World Defense Show (WDS).The participating entities in the Saudi Pavilion reviewed the rapid steps taken by the military-industrial sector to continue localizing and enabling the sector. This sector, rich in local capabilities that meet the practical needs of the military agencies, is rapidly growing and attracting quality investments that will contribute to the development of a thriving economy and sustainable industry.
