The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully concluded its Saudi Noor Volunteer Project to Combat Blindness in Lomé, Togo. The program, which ran from November 19 to November 25, focused on providing crucial medical assistance to combat blindness and related diseases.
During the project, the dedicated medical volunteer team affiliated with KSrelief conducted examinations for 5,619 individuals and distributed 1,884 eyeglasses. Additionally, the team performed 431 cataract surgeries and distributed 3,188 medications, showcasing the significant impact of the Noor project in Togo.
The Noor project in Togo is an extension of KSrelief's ongoing volunteer medical initiatives, aimed at addressing eye diseases and supporting affected individuals in countries facing healthcare challenges worldwide. These humanitarian efforts underscore the Kingdom's commitment to extending a helping hand to those in need, promoting global health, and combating preventable blindness.
