Riyadh, November 21, 2023, The Fourth Session of the Saudi-Finnish Joint Committee concluded in Riyadh today, marking a successful step in bilateral economic relations. Chaired by Abdulaziz bin Omar Al-Sakran, Deputy Governor of the General Authority of Foreign Trade of International Relations for the Saudi side, and Petri Peltonen, Under-secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland for the Finnish side, the committee focused on fostering cooperation and collaboration.
The joint committee's objectives include the development of economic relations, particularly in the commercial field, as well as establishing collaborative projects, exchanging experiences, and strengthening government communication between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Finland.
During the session, several recommendations were approved to enhance trade and investment development. These recommendations address removing obstacles and challenges, facilitating cooperation through the exchange of trade delegations, and exploring opportunities for joint participation in exhibitions held in both countries. The outcomes of the committee reflect a shared commitment to deepening economic ties and fostering mutual benefit.
