March 31, 2025 - Sudan’s army chief, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Mecca on Friday to discuss the latest developments in war-torn Sudan

“They also discussed prospects for cooperation between the two brotherly countries, and an agreement was reached to establish a coordination council tasked with enhancing bilateral relations in various fields,” according to a readout of the meeting from the Kingdom.
