Sudanese Health Minister Meets with KSrelief Supervisor General at WHA77 in Geneva


In Geneva, Switzerland, Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim met Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah.


They exchanged views on relief and humanitarian work, particularly in Sudan's health system.


Ibrahim expressed gratitude to KSrelief for their continuous support in relation to the current humanitarian situation in Sudan.



Geneva, May 27, 2024. Today's meeting was between Sudan's Federal Minister of Health, Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah. Al-Rabeeah is an advisor to the Royal Court.


The gathering was held outside the Seventy-seventh World Health Assembly (WHA77) in Geneva, Switzerland. The conference was attended by Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Abdulmohsen bin Khothaila.


They discussed relief and humanitarian initiatives that would benefit both parties throughout their talk, with an emphasis on Sudan's hospital sector in particular. Ibrahim conveyed his appreciation to Saudi Arabia's humanitarian arm, KSrelief, for its assistance and support to the Sudanese refugees and vulnerable communities throughout the present humanitarian crisis.
