It is expected to raise the dust with the wind in the Eastern Region, Riyadh, and Najran.


The Red Sea winds will be the northwest to the north at the speed of 20-45 km/hr; the waves may reach a height of half a meter to two meters. The winds in the Arabian Gulf blow from the northwest to the west with speeds ranging between 10-40 km/hr, and the waves may reach a height of half a meter to one and a half meters.



Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, May 19, 2024, SP— The National Center for Meteorology forecasts that the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah will experience hail and rain that ranges between moderate to heavy conditions. The Madinah will witness light to moderate rain.


We are expecting dust raising winds over Eastern Region, Riyadh, and Najran.


Winds will be at a speed of 20-45 kilometers per hour from the northwest to the north over the Red Sea, while in the central and southern parts, it will be from 10-50 km/h.In addition, the water may be calm or choppy, and the waves may be anywhere from half a meter to two meters in height.


In the Arabian Gulf, winds will blow from the northwest to the west, with speeds ranging from 10 to 40 kilometers per hour in the center and south of the region. The sea will be rather quiet, despite the fact that waves may reach heights of half a meter to one and a half meters.
