Riyadh, March 08, 2024, The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has issued a call to all Muslims within the Kingdom to observe the sighting of the Ramadan crescent on the evening of Sunday, 29/8/1445 AH, according to the Umm al-Qura calendar, corresponding to March 10, 2024.
In its announcement, the Supreme Court has urged individuals who witness the crescent with the naked eye or through binoculars to promptly inform the nearest court. Those who spot the crescent are encouraged to record their testimony at the nearest court or seek assistance from the nearest center to facilitate their journey to the appropriate legal institution. This call to action emphasizes the significance of community involvement in the official confirmation of the start of the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring a unified and accurate commencement of this sacred period.
