Riyadh, February 25, 2025 – During the Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum (RIHF) on Monday, Muhammad Al Jasser, the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), held a key meeting with Patricia Danzi, the Director-General of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The discussion centered around strengthening collaboration between the two organizations, with a particular focus on sustainable development initiatives.

The meeting provided an opportunity for Al Jasser and Danzi to explore potential partnerships aimed at advancing global sustainability goals. Both parties expressed a strong commitment to addressing key challenges in development, such as climate change, poverty alleviation, and economic resilience, through collaborative efforts that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This dialogue is part of the IsDB’s ongoing strategy to foster partnerships with global institutions that share a vision for sustainable development. By working together with the SDC, the IsDB aims to leverage its expertise and resources to support impactful development projects across its member countries, particularly in areas requiring urgent humanitarian intervention and long-term development strategies.

The Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, a gathering of global leaders, policymakers, and humanitarian experts, served as the perfect backdrop for these important discussions, reinforcing the need for international cooperation in addressing global challenges. The meeting between Al Jasser and Danzi signals a renewed commitment from both organizations to work hand-in-hand in shaping a more sustainable future for communities worldwide.
