Riyadh, October 23, 2023, Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Mekdad called Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah today to discuss bilateral ties and topics of mutual interest. The current military escalation in Gaza and other relevant developments were discussed by the two ministers, as well as the need to find means of reducing tension and halting the spread of the conflict, as well as the need to find a just resolution that satisfies the aspirations of the comradely Palestinian people, lessens the effects of this crisis, and helps to protect civilians.
