Tabuk, February 21, 2025 — The Tabuk Region has completed its preparations for the highly anticipated Founding Day celebrations, set to take place on February 22, 2025, under the theme "The Day We Began." The celebrations will span three days and are designed to honor the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s rich history, cultural heritage, and the founding of the nation. A diverse array of programs, activities, and initiatives have been organized, ensuring that the occasion is marked with significance and pride.
More than 20 events are scheduled to take place over the three-day period, beginning on Friday, February 22. The festivities will feature a blend of cultural showcases, including theatrical performances that highlight the Kingdom’s historical narratives, traditional folklore, and live demonstrations of handicrafts. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of Saudi fashion and textiles, which will be displayed prominently throughout the event.
In addition to the vibrant cultural programs, extensive efforts have been made to enhance the atmosphere of the celebrations. Public spaces across the region have been adorned with 3,500 Saudi flags, while 15,000 meters of roads will be illuminated with decorative lighting, creating a festive ambiance throughout Tabuk. Key locations within the city will also feature 115 artistic panels and special Founding Day displays that showcase the Kingdom’s rich history and milestones. To ensure the celebrations reach a wider audience, 14 electronic billboards will be strategically placed across the city, displaying the Founding Day logo and celebratory messages.
These efforts are part of a larger initiative to bring communities together in a reflection of national pride and to deepen the connection to the Kingdom’s roots.
