There are some of the oldest palm trees in the area. There are more than 40 different varieties of palm trees in Tabuk, with Halwa Tayma being the most well-known and fruitful one. According to the Tabuk department of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, the Tabuk Region contains 1,012,499 palm trees and produces 51 tons of dates every year. The farm owners' high standards of care at every level of operation are to thank for the great output.
According to farmer Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Quwayz, who met a team from the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) while touring palm tree farms in the area, the governorate of Tayma produces dates and palm trees, both of which have significant economic and social significance. He claimed that Tabuk dates are much sought-after because of their excellent flavor, which is a result of the soil and accessibility to pure water.
