Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Taif, visited the miqats of ihram and several security checkpoints in Taif on June 10, 2024.
The purpose of the governor's visit was to monitor the services provided to Hajj pilgrims and evaluate their quality.

Taif, June 10, 2024. Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Taif, paid visits to the miqats of ihram and several security checkpoints throughout the governorate on Sunday. The Al-Bahita Security Screening Center was one of the checkpoints that he visited. The governor's visit this year aimed to monitor the seamless operation of services offered to Hajj pilgrims by the government, service providers, and commercial entities. Additionally, the governor wanted to evaluate the quality of these services.
During a visit to the Miqat of Qarn Al-Manazil in Al Sail Al Kabir, the governor of Taif, together with the Undersecretary of the Taif Governorate, Musleh bin Hamdan Al-Bogami, and directors from a variety of governmental, civil, and military sectors, were present. Prince Saud bin Nahar also had the chance to inspect the security exhibition at the Bahita Center. The attendees included leaders from the military, the government, and the commercial sector. After that, the governor made a stop at one of the security checkpoints along the Al Sail Al Kabir road.
There, he received an overview of the technologies used to investigate and address violations of Hajj permits, along with the associated procedures. In addition to this, he visited the Wadi Mehrim Miqat, which is located on the Al Hada route, and communicated with a number of pilgrims to make certain that they were receiving sufficient help.
