Taif, December 31, 2023, Taif Governor, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, officially inaugurated the Al-Tanfeethi Lounge at Taif International Airport, accompanied by Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Duailj, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), and other senior civil and military officials in the region.
During the tour, Prince Saud thoroughly examined the facilities of the new lounge, notable for its contemporary design adhering to the highest international standards. The lounge reflects the unprecedented comprehensive development renaissance taking place in the Kingdom. Prince Saud also conducted a comprehensive review of Taif Airport, internal lounges, and the ongoing initiatives and efforts dedicated to enhancing passenger services.
Gelban Al-Gelban, CEO of Al-Tanfeethi, highlighted that the inauguration of the new lounge at Taif Airport is part of a broader initiative to enhance and upgrade Al-Tanfeethi lounges. He emphasized that the project, spanning 90 days, is capable of accommodating up to 800,000 passengers annually. The modern engineering designs are aligned with the latest systems and equipment to meet the unique requirements of VIP guests. Al-Gelban underscored that this new lounge is a component of various upcoming development projects aimed at ensuring the company attains the objectives outlined in the National Civil Aviation Strategy.
Al-Tanfeethi Company oversees all Al-Tanfeethi lounges across different airports in the Kingdom, boasting more than 27 guest lounges. These lounges provide exclusive services to offer travelers an exceptional and comfortable experience. Al-Gelban explained that introducing the new Al-Tanfeethi identity is part of the company's ambitious plan to expand its operations, aligning with the goals and aspirations of its beneficiaries.
Concluding the tour, Prince Saud commended the collaborative efforts that have contributed to service development, expressing his hope for witnessing further projects to enhance the experience of guests and visitors arriving through Taif Airport.
