Dar es Salaam, September 04, 2023, The Permanent Secretary of the United Republic of Tanzania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Samwel Wiliam Shelukindo, and the Advisor to the Royal Court, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Kattan, met today. They addressed bilateral ties and looked at measures to expand and diversify collaboration between the two nations' diverse sectors during their discussion. In a news conference held after the meeting, the Secretary-General reaffirmed the United Republic of Tanzania's support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the Expo 2030 Host City in Riyadh. The „First Saudi-African Summit" and the „Fifth Arab-African Summit", which will take place in the Kingdom later this year, would also be warmly welcomed, he added.
As a sign of the strong ties between the two nations, Advisor Kattan also expressed the Government of the Kingdom's gratitude and appreciation for this support.
