Riyadh, March 31, 2025 – The Transport General Authority (TGA) reported that licensed parcel transport companies delivered over 26 million shipments and postal parcels during Ramadan 1446 AH, marking an 18% increase from the previous year.

This record-breaking achievement reflects the Kingdom’s efficient logistics sector, the dedication of licensed companies to improving customer experience, and their alignment with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy.

The TGA highlighted that the highest daily delivery volume was recorded on the 24th of Ramadan, exceeding 1.1 million shipments in 24 hours, demonstrating the sector’s readiness to handle seasonal demand surges.

The growth trend in parcel transport is evident, with approximately 22 million shipments delivered in Ramadan 1445 AH (2024) and 14 million in Ramadan 1444 AH (2023), reflecting an 86% increase over two years.

The authority attributed this success to integrated efforts, strong collaboration with government agencies, and the participation of over 70 licensed companies, whose adherence to operational plans during peak seasons significantly enhanced service efficiency.
