Makkah, the 11th of June, 2024: The Transport General Authority (TGA) presented a mobile control and monitoring center, outfitted with sensors dispersed throughout significant routes, for the first time during this year's 1445 AH Hajj season. This center can monitor cars used for public transportation in Makkah and at holy sites in real-time during the Hajj season. Additionally, it is able to analyze the traffic density along permitted pilgrim transit routes. As a result, it is possible to deploy staff and field inspectors effectively whenever they are required, and it is also possible to conduct instant inspections of vehicles by deploying 360-degree perimeter cameras in the center. Saudis, using their specialized knowledge and cutting-edge technology, constructed the center, an integrated technical system that connects to all other required systems. This method facilitates the decision-making process necessary to ensure pilgrims' comfort and safety.
