TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) World Rally Team (WRT) has once again emerged victorious at the Safari Rally Kenya, securing an unprecedented fourth consecutive win and solidifying its position in the FIA World Rally Championship. The team achieved a remarkable one-two finish, with Kalle Rovanperä and co-driver Jonne Halttunen clinching first place in the No.69 Toyota GR YARIS Rally1 Hybrid Electric Vehicle, closely followed by Takamoto Katsuta and Aaron Johnston in the No.33 Toyota GR YARIS Rally1 Hybrid Electric Vehicle.
This triumph marks Toyota's 12th Safari Rally Kenya victory and catapults the team into a four-point lead in the manufacturers’ championship standings. It underscores the exceptional performance and reliability of the GR YARIS Rally1 HYBRID Electric Vehicle, which received updates such as an enhanced suspension package and a distinctive snorkel system tailored for the challenging Safari Rally terrain.
