The event focused on harnessing desalination to address global water needs, emphasizing technological innovations and strategies to overcome industry challenges. A significant announcement highlighted the world's first 3D-printed ceramic membrane with a five-year lifespan. Furthermore, SWCC revealed plans to increase participation and double the prize value for the Global Prize for Innovation in Desalination. The conference also witnessed the signing of five memoranda of understanding to advance the water industry and promote innovative technologies in collaboration with various prominent entities and companies.
