7 June 2024 Dushanbe The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques addressed a farewell ceremony today for this year's pilgrims as part of the Guests Program for the Hajj. Walid bin Abdulrahman Al-Rashidan, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan, hosted the ceremony. Within the context of the event, Al-Rashidan emphasized the commitment of the Kingdom's leadership to pilgrims and the provision of all facilities that will enable them to complete the Hajj, which is Islam's fifth pillar, in a quiet and peaceful manner.
The holy sites are executing a package of services and projects that include this commitment. Furthermore, the envoy noted that the service of the Two Holy Mosques has been a priority for the Kingdom's leadership on multiple occasions, beginning with King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman and continuing with King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is currently acting as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
