Taif, February 2, 2025 – The inaugural Taif Falcons Cup came to a thrilling conclusion today, held near the historic Okaz Market in northern Taif. The prestigious event, which gathered over 300 falconers from across the region, celebrated the rich cultural heritage of falconry, a traditional practice deeply ingrained in the history of the Arabian Peninsula.


The championship attracted significant attention from local officials, particularly from the Governor of Taif, who played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the event. Over the past seven months, the governor worked in close collaboration with the Saudi Falcons Club to organize and execute a competition that would honor the ancient tradition of falconry while showcasing the region’s dedication to preserving its cultural roots.


The event was not only a display of skill and precision but also a testament to the leadership’s commitment to fostering and promoting Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage.
